We want to do this by giving out customers the sort of service that is, unfortunately, mainly a relic of a bygone era. We don't put our customers through phone menu mazes and we don't think our obligation toward our customers ends once a reservation has been made. Founder, Nimble Travel
A veteran in both technology and travel industries, John Hanna founded online travel site Nimble Travel because he knows that savvy travelers appreciate being rewarded for their loyalty in a way that makes dollars and sense. He also believes that world-class service and quality deals make all the difference.
As founder, John oversees Nimble Travel’s operations and growth strategy, as
well sales, marketing and customer service functions.
Through its streamlined online booking process, its ongoing ample supply of
travel deals worldwide, and its friendly and knowledgeable live support, Nimble
Travel is a trusted source for hotel rooms, flights and car rentals. The site is also
an invaluable resource for helpful travel information.
Prior to launching Nimble Travel, John served as Chief Technical Officer for
Prestige Travel, Inc. in Las Vegas, Las Vegas’ largest travel agency. During
his 11-year tenure there, he led projects which connected Prestige with some
of the biggest names in travel such as Hilton, MGM Grand, Expedia, Harrah’s,
Travelocity and WorldSpan.
In 2000, John worked as the Technology Manager for online photo start-up Primeshot.com, helping
to scale their operations as they built their nationwide event photography
During and after his undergraduate work at American University in Washington,
D.C. and graduate work at Ohio University, John got caught up in the “Dot Com
Boom” of the 1990s, working first for Colorado-based Internet Service Provider
Ruralnet and then for cutting-edge new media firm iXL in Washington, D.C. While
at iXL, John worked on projects for Fortune 500 clients such as Monsanto and
non-profit clients such as RockTheVote and the Pew Charitable Trusts.
John holds two Bachelor's of Arts degrees from American University. He resides in his native state of Colorado and enjoys skiing the
Rocky Mountains and travelling the world.
